Called “Do It Right!“, this group was originated to fill a void in the gay community.
Not initially set up as a dating or support group, Do It Right! is designed more so as a social outlet for men near or over 30 who happen to be Gay and HIV Positive. At the time, there did not exist in Albuquerque a group of this nature. We began the gatherings to provide a place for gay Poz men to meet, share and exchange information and ideas for how best to cope and survive with HIV/AIDS. It was also set up so that positive men in New Mexico could meet other gay Poz men, form new friendships, give back to the community and get involved.
